Randomly today my victus laptop turned off and on over and over and when I plug in the charger the light turns on like normal and early the laptop just turned off and stop but then I plugged the charger and now the light on the power button is blinking again. What should I do.

@Jackyoyo, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot your HP Victus laptop if it isn't turning on properly:

Check the Power Supply:

  • Make sure the charger is properly plugged into both the laptop and the power outlet. Ensure it is supplying power.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the charger from the laptop.
  • Remove the battery if it is removable (skip this step if the battery is internal).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery (if removed) and plug in the charger.
  • Try turning on the laptop.

Inspect the Battery:

  • If the battery is removable, try using the laptop only with the charger plugged in and the battery removed. This can help determine if the issue is with the battery.

Check the Charger and Cable:

  • Inspect the charger and cable for any visible signs of damage. If you suspect the charger is faulty, try using another compatible charger if available.

Boot to BIOS:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press the power button and immediately start pressing the ESC or F10 key repeatedly to boot into BIOS.
  • If you can access the BIOS, it means the issue might be related to the operating system or software.

Attempt to Boot Without Peripherals:

  • Disconnect any external devices such as USB drives, external hard drives, or other peripherals.
  • Attempt to boot the laptop again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
