Hello, I tried to boot up my laptop, but there was an error that writes that there was a SMART Hard Disk Error (301). I would be grateful if someone could help me.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble using the Pc getting a 301 Smart Hard Disc error and are not able to use the Pc, Sorry to hear about the trouble, Please try to run a hard drive test on the Pc and let me know the result to help you better.

Hard Drive test  

1) Shut down the computer.  
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.  
3) Press F2 once.  
4) Go to Component test.  
5) From the list, run the Hard Drive (extensive) test.

Hello, I tried to run the extensive test, but as soon as it starts it gives me a screen saying that:

SMART Check : NOT AVAILABLE

Long DST : NOT AVAILABLE

Sorry to hear about the issue. it indicates that the issue is with the Pc hardware. Please help us with your HP unit serial number or the product number in a private message for further assistance.
