My laptop is hp15 bs035ne and I have windows 11
My laptop won't start even the screen is off that is after upgrading the ram to 16 Gb in the same slot as the the old 8 Gb ram but when I reinstalled the old ram in its old slot and installed the new ram in the second slot the laptop started working normally on 24 Gb ram, now I want to upgrade to 32 Gb ram (16×2) because of my motion graphic work, also after checking my laptop can take UP TO 32 GB, I can't make any further upgrade until I understand what happened,
PLEASE HELP

Crucial recommends double rank (low density) memory for that model and that has been my experience as well.

Single rank high density memory often is not compatible and the Kingston Value and Crucial Basics are particularly prone to issues. Also note Crucial says the max memory is 16 gb. You can double check that from the command line as so:
The maximum amount of RAM your computer can support is as follows:
- Press Windows Key + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
- In the command prompt, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity, and press Enter.
- The result will be displayed in Kilobytes. Convert this to Gigabytes by dividing by (1024) twice.

The 16 gb module must not be compatible. So it does not work by itself. If you pair it with the original memory the system forces the new memory to run with the same timings the original and the system will work. So please identify the 16 gb module you purchased so we can check its specs and potential compatibility.

RAM in the picture is single. One horizontal row of black blocks across the front. Compare the link from Crucial. 2 rows of black blocks. Also you installed DDR4-3200 and Crucial recommends DDR4-2400. That theoretically should not in and of itself be a problem but the memory needs to downclock and the more you make it downclock the less likely it is to be compatible.
