HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3X9AV)

My laptop model is 15-dw3033dx. The one time it turned on, I got the error message of CMOS invalid checksum and then the laptop screen went black

Turn on the computer by holding the power button down for 20 full seconds then release. Press the Power button one more time (if necessary) to start the computer and then repeatedly press the ESC key and enter the diagnostic option page (F2 is diagnostics)

Once you pass diagnostics, enter the BIOS setup.  Press F9 or whatever key sets default.  Set the date and time to local. Be sure to save when you exit the bios with F10.

Keep the unit plugged so that the battery charges.

When I press the power button, the light indicating that the laptop is on keeps on blinking. When I press the windows + b keys and then press the power button, the blinking stops but the fan becomes loud and the screen still doesn't display anything.

If you held down the power button for 20 seconds and it did not turn on there is a hardware problem.

There is no need to do the Win + B key unless you did a BIOS update that failed.

Did a bios update go bad?

Try holding down the power button for 20 seconds.

If that does not work then
