My laptops: Compaq CQ58-d53SO, suddenly just died. Powersupply is ok, but the laptop will just not start. Virus scans allways ok, firewall on. I bought two of them (Compaq CQ58-d53SO) and they both "died" the same way.

@CQ58-d53SO Is the device powering on at the moment? any lights blinking? Do you remember any updates being run that may have been interrupted in anyway, as that would cause such issues, also, did you try with an alternate power cord/adapter and another wall outlet, just to be sure?
While you answer those questionnaire, here's what you can do:
Let's perform a power reset as per HP standards:
Ensure your laptop is OFF.
Unplug all the external devices (If any).
Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
Connect the power supply (power adapter).
Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
Then put your battery back.
