HP Stream - 14-cb174wm

I can’t reset my password because the Secirity questions pop up I don’t remember the answers.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
If you don't remember the answers to your security questions and can't reset your password, here are some steps to regain access to your HP Stream 14:

Try Resetting via Microsoft Account (If Using a Microsoft Account)

If you use a Microsoft account to sign in, you can reset your password online:

  1. Go to the Microsoft password reset page:
    https://account.live.com/password/reset
  2. Follow the steps to reset your password via email or phone verification.

Use a Password Reset Disk (If Created Previously)

If you created a password reset disk, insert it and follow these steps:

  1. Click Reset password on the login screen.
  2. Follow the instructions using the password reset disk.

Enable Built-in Administrator Account

If you're using a local account (not a Microsoft account), try enabling the hidden administrator account to reset your password:

  1. Restart your laptop and boot into Safe Mode with Command Prompt:
    • Turn off your laptop and turn it on while holding Shift + F8 (try multiple times if necessary).
    • Select Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.
  2. In the Command Prompt, type: net user Administrator /active:yes
    Press Enter.
  3. Restart your laptop, and you should see an Administrator account on the login screen.
  4. Log in to this account, then go to Control Panel > User Accounts and change your password.
  5. After resetting, disable the admin account (for security) by typing: net user Administrator /active:no

Reset Windows (If Nothing Else Works)

If all else fails, you may need to reset Windows, which will erase your files and apps:

  1. At the login screen, press and hold Shift, then click Restart.
  2. Go to Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.
  3. Choose Remove everything to reset the laptop.
