Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My system is not booting up. I have 24 digits failure code.  I got a message while I was working that “system is crashed” and after that I got a blue screen with message that “Sutem recovery is in progress...” . Finally the system is not booting up at all.  When I did system recovery manually through start up options my hardware quick check failed and I got 24 digits failure code. QE5W22-9AB9SM-MFPW2K-60QD03

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure, means that the hard drive needs to be replaced, and the operating system reinstalled.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10, the drivers and software that came with your PC by making a bootable recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery client utility.
