Product: HP Pro 3500 Microtower PC

Hello, i tried change CPU from i5-3470 to i7-2600K. But for doing this, as I understand, I should update BIOS but HP Support Assistant can't find updates for me. Foxconn 2ABF 2ABF 3.10 BIOS Version: 8.08 Thank you for your Support!!!

Hi:

 

The reason that the HP support assistant doesn't find any BIOS updates for your PC, is because you are not running W7 or W8 on it, which is where the only BIOS updates can be found.

 

The W8 driver section has the most recent BIOS update--8.19.

Since you are not running a supported operating system for the BIOS update, you will have to update the BIOS at your own risk.

 

BTW, the i7-2600K is not a processor that was offered in the HP Pro 3500 MT.

Btw, an i7-2600K is compatible with a Foxconn 2ABF motherboard: HP Pro 3500 Series Performance Results - UserBenchmark.
