I'm not sure whether the blink code is a single blink repeating 3 times or 3 blinks. This is exactly what I see and hear after pressing the power on button: The F12 blinks , the fan runs and the CAPS LOCK BLINKS, the F12 blinks , the fan runs and the CAPS LOCK BLINKS, the F12 blinks , the fan runs and the CAPS LOCK BLINKS. Then everything shutsdown. This pertains to an 'HP15 touchscreen' w/ win 10 64bit.

I just watched a 15 min video on disassembling the HP 15 TS notebook. This notebook doesn't have a removeable panel to access the memory module, unfortunately. Since I'm not sure whether my blink code is indicating a CPU or memory module failure, I was going to remove the memory module and see if the blink code changes. However, since that looks like an hour of disassembly and reassembly just to try, I was hoping to get a positive determination of the blink codes. If it's the CPU, I'm recommending my friend buys a new laptop. So, here's my problem. I'm not sure whether HP repeats the blink code 3 times or do they just display it once.
