You don't have to enable Legacy Mode to reinstall Windows. Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. You should get a menu where F11 System Recovery is an option.

I know but we always do a clean install whenever we do one.   Often the computers we receive have been upgraded to Win10 from Win8 and the recovery partition has Win8 on it.  Rather than go through all of that we do a clean install.  In order to backup their data, we have to enable Legacy mode to get our backup tools to load and bypass their O/S in case it is corrupted with viruses etc.
