Product: HP Pavilion xt412 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Hey I've got an old laptop that doesn't boot up. When I plug it in the charging light turns on but I can't turn the computer on. Any idea what might be wrong with it?It's an HP Pavillion xt412. I've got a power switch board I bought a couple months back but I don't know how to take the computer apart to replace it. I've seen some computers where the BIOS locks when you change out the parts so I'm gonna need to know how to find the password as well. Thanks
