Upon first starting the system, in the Register and Protect screen, the Next button does not work, so the machine is locked.

I understand you facing issues while setting up the PC, need not worry I'll be glad to assist you.

 

As the system is stuck I suggest you perform a hard reset using this link: https://hp.care/2t2d0IY

 

Then, check if are able to complete the process.

 

If the issue persists, try to reinstall the OS using recovery manager using this link: https://hp.care/2sZtgO9
