HP sez lost warranty because Amazon altered the noteboo (more speed). It reboots every 5 minutes. Should I download Windows 11 again.

@Notimeleft, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 Series Warranty and Operating System Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 is rebooting every 5 minutes and you have been informed that the warranty is void, it could be due to modifications made by the Amazon seller. When dealing with such issues, re-installing or resetting your operating system can sometimes help, but it's not the only solution you should consider. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Check System Updates:
- Ensure that all Windows updates and HP drivers are installed.
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to check for updates.
Reinstall Windows 11:
- If the issues persist, you can try reinstalling Windows 11. This might resolve any software conflicts that are causing the frequent reboots.
- You can download the Windows 11 installation media from the Microsoft website.
System Restore:
- Use a system restore point to return the system to a previous state before the issue began.
- Go to Start > Settings > System > About > Related settings > System Protection > System Restore.
Check for Hardware Issues:
- Sometimes frequent reboots can be caused by hardware issues such as overheating or faulty RAM.
- Ensure that the laptop is being ventilated properly and consider running hardware diagnostics from the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows tool.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
