Product: HP Envy
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

After running some updates on my laptop, I got the "blue screen of death" after the computer was in the process of restarting. I turned the power off and turned it back on again and the process resumes normally. Can someone please tell me, if possible, why this occurred? Thanks!

These are HP Updates not Windows Updates?

 

And you're really running Win7?

 

Asking because HP has not put out any Win7 updates for years, so I don't know how that could be happening.
