No Boot/ No Power Issue

Hi, so I have an HP Stream Laptop and I’ve had it for about a year and 3 months and around January of this year when I was doing homework it just shut off completely and never turned back on. I’ve been trying to see if it would just turn on by holding down the power button but nothing happens. It’s hasn’t powered on or booted up in the last 2 months. I see no error message, nothing  but a black screen.  I’m not sure if it’s an easy fix or and internal hardware problem. Does anyone know what button combination I would have to use for a hard restart? Or if I should get in contact with a Support Agent or maybe give up the laptop, sell it for parts and invest in a new one ?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

• Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
• Have you made any hardware/software changes?
• Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

Firstly, run Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8 (if the computer doesn't start up/power on you can skip the next step)

Next step, BIOS default: 

1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
