Hi,

Check the Boot order to see if the HDD is selected in the Boot Order in the BIOS

If the HDD is selected, then Check the status of the Hard Drive  by the running UEFI test the in system Diagnostics

If the test Passes, It's an Issue with The OS

If the test fails you will receive a failure ID which is a 24 digit alpha Numeric number

Kindly contact HP support with failure ID
