Notebook 15 da2xxx
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop suddenly froze, showed a blue screen searching for errors then took me to the boot device not found screen.

I tried some suggestions provided on some discussions here but my device doesn't seem to have the legacy support option anywhere.

So I don't know how to proceed. I ran all the tests and my device passed

You should be able to reinstall W11 by selecting the UEFI USB W11 installation flash drive in the F9 boot options menu.

Not every notebook has a legacy boot source option.

Those were for older notebooks and newer ones like yours no longer have that option.

You can disable secure boot.

That would be the only option and that should not be necessary,

i cannot find the UEFI USB W11 installation flash drive in the boot menu. I don't know what I'm supposed to look for even looks like, but I did try disabling the secure boot like you suggested and it still hasn't changed.

Could you please provide me with a walk through if you don't mind?

You made a W11 installation flash drive.

You are currently in the F10 BIOS setup menu.

You can see the USB Flash Drive/USB hard disk in the list of bootable devices under the UEFI boot order menu.

When you exit the F10 setup menu, and restart the PC, you tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu and your USB flash drive should be showing up on the list of bootable devices.

It may be the actual name of the brand of USB flash drive you are using.
