One of the icons should be the Wi-Fi icon to allow you to connect to the internet so you "Microsoft email" account can be validated. This happened to me when i created a "email" account on initial setup of windows.
Connect to internet so windows can validate your password.
When you get a chance, create a local account so this never happens again
If your Wi-Fi drivers are corrupted (it can happen) then you must use an ethernet cable and at worst you will have to do a factory cloud restore.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion however the internet icon only allows me to select my WiFi or switch to flight mode.
The other buttons one offers on/off to sticky keys, magnifier etc...
The other is power, sleep, shutdown or restart.
Appreciate any other ideas you have.

CTRL-ALT-DEL keys should bring up a login or allow some type of connection to be made.
