HP 14-dq0000 Laptop PC (9WQ76AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I was getting a blinking caps lock light of 3 slow and 2 quick. I had changed out my memory module. I put the old one back in and the blinking light stopped. But there is still no display.

I tried the reset instructions. I tried recovering the bios. I reseated the memory module several times.

As a side note, the memory module I just got is the same as what is in it except it is 8 g and the old one is 4 g.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm grateful for any help.

Here's a video from HP Support about diagnosing the issue of the laptop starting but having a black screen instead of any display:

Thank you for getting with me. I have watched and followed this video a couple of times. Unfortunately, none of these suggestions helped.

Thanks for getting with me. I tried to open the video you suggested but it won't open for me. It told me the account had been terminated.

That's correct -- the HP account got shut down.  I've passed this along to HP and they are working on a solution.
