Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Few months backed I partioned 60gb of my HDD and installed a Android OS. So every time I would switch laptop on it would boot straight to the Android unless I selected Windows 10 from the options. I deleted the Android off in Disk Management and reset my laptop. So now its saying Please install a OS on to the Hard Disk I'm assuming that because I deleted that and that been the first OS it booted to that the computer thinks theres no OS. I've tried loading up my Windows 10 install both usb and disc to see if i could get into the CM prompt using the repair option but Its not even loading that up when trying both USB/Disc and trying internal/external Disc drive. I know that if it comes to it I'll have to format HDD and re install, but is there anyway I can get my windows 10 back and keep my files??? Thanks in advance people.

You can use LiveCD to boot into and copy all the necessary files to external drive:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD

Or take out the HDD, use SATA to USB adapter and connect to another working computer, use explorer to copy the files to external drive
https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-USB3S2SAT3CB-Drive-Adapter-Cable/dp/B00HJZJI84

Did you try repair install like this:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html

You've to create UEFI bootable Windows installation USB using Microsoft windows media creation tool. Disable secure boot from BIOS, plug in USB and change boot order to USB and continue with repair.

Hi thanks for reply. LiveCD would that be along the lines of Ultimate boot or is it 2 diffrent things? I’m going to try your last suggestion first as I don’t have a sata to usb cable and I know ov LiveCD but never used it. I will let you know how I get on with it and once again thanks for reply.

LiveCD is for copying the necessary files, that's all.

Use repair install tutorial to repair boot issue.

Option 1, to create Windows 10 bootable USB: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2376-create-bootable-usb-flash-drive-install-windows-10-a.html

Ok I managed to create a bootable windows 10 usb so I clicked on start up repair and no joy. I've went into the CMD and ran diskpart then list disk and selected disk 0. SIZE-698gb FREE-62gb. Next list partition came up with 3.

Partition###       Type            Size          Offset

Partition 1            Primary      500mb   1024kb

Partition 2            Primary      634gb     501mb

Partition 3            Recovery    960mb    697gb

I also ran detail partition1,2&3 and got this

Partition 1 Ltr-c         Partition 2  Ltr-E    Partition 3  Ltr-F

Type      :07                                 07                                   27

Hidden :no                                  No                                   yes

Active   :yes                                No                                    no                                                     offset in bytes                                                                                                                               1048576                                  525336576               749146734592

Volume 1    FS/NTFS size 500 mb     Volume 2  FS/NTFS    Size 634gb       Volume 3      FS/NTFS       Size 960 mb

Status Healthy                                         Status  Healthy                                              Status Healthy

So now I'm kinda at a loss as to what to do next and I don't really want to start messing around with it.

I don't know if most of that is useless to you but was just trying to give you as much info as possible. Thanks in advance.

Ok so I went back to one of your first suggestions the LiveCD to take a look at the size of my files I wanted back altogether and decided just to get them then just re install windows then add my files at a later date. Im just waiting for them to finish then I’ll put usb in my tower to see if they are all there before I reinstall Windows 10. Thanks for your help very much appreciated.
