HP EliteBook 6930p Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After I booted from a USB drive for something, I turned off the computer and removed the USB drive, turned the computer back on and went to BIOS (Legacy version since I am unaware how to update) to return boot order to normal, and after saving the settings and exiting, I get the error described in the subject.

From what I read, this model laptop came originally with XP on it, and if yours did, that means you have updated it from XP, to Vista to Win7, to Win8 (maybe) and finally, to Win10. Very impressive.

It (most likely) does not have a BIOS that you can update to UEFI, being that old, so Legacy is probably the only option you have.

This error usually means it can not read the boot files, which is most often the case when the boot sector is pointing to the wrong partition on the drive.  Something you should experiment with in the BIOS to see which drives can be selected. I don't have any Legacy PCs or laptops that still work, so I can't boot one up to tell you which partitions to check, sorry.
