i have installed a new SSD disk in my laptop, and have cloned the os from the old HDD disk to the new SSD disk. But I am not able to change the boot order in the bios settings to get the system boot using the os on the new SSD disk.

Can't find an option to set the order anywhere in the bios settings>> system config>> boot settings to prioritize the new SSD disk over the old HDD disk. Pls see images attachedBios settings pageBios settings page

From the picture posted it appears that DriveLock might be enabled on the drives (since that is check marked), is that correct?

No I had to disable drivelock to enable uefi boot mode, as the system showed a warning. Earlier this was grayed out and I could see only legacy boot mode. Attached images for.reference.Grayed out uefi boot modeGrayed out uefi boot mode

Was the DriveLock disabled before the cloning?

What software did you use to clone the drive?

One more thing, does the PC still boot OK from the hard drive?

No the drivelock was enabled then.

I used minitool partition wizard for cloning.

I edited the post and you might have missed the last question.  Does the PC still boot from the Hard drive?

If DriveLock was enabled, I would think that would cause the clone to not be successful.  Try it again with the Drivelock off.

The system is still booting from the old HDD disk..

I ran the cloning process again with drivelock disabled, but in vain. attaching the minitool partition wizard screenshot after cloning, if that helps. pls advise.

Also,

The old HDD disk is MBR.. hope that won't result into any issue?

That is interesting.  The spec page says that PC came with Vista or Windows 7, which would have been before GPT.  It appears that the SSD is a Kingston and it has GPT listed.  Curious how that happened when the hard drive is a MBR which is where the Windows 10 is most likely installed and what should have been cloned to the SSD.  If the Migration software from Kingston is used instead of whatever you used, I would think that would/should solve that problem.  It is a forum of Acronis, which works very well IMHO.

Give that a try and report back
