Hi i have an old hp pavilion g6 1140ss and i wanted to upgrade it with an ssd and when i put the new ssd it says this message and it doesnt detect my ssd, and i put my new ssd in the desktop computer and i everything is fine and i could install windows perfectly in it and all good, and i thought now the ssd should work perfectly on my laptop but still shows this message when in other pc's this ssd works perfectly.
I alresdy changes boot preference order and my bios doesnt have the options to change legacy/uefi
Please i'll be really grateful if you could help me

That message would be expected assuming the Windows has not been installed yet. If Windows was cloned onto the new SSD or has been installed when not in the laptop, that, too, could be the problem. Please explain on what was done if Windows is present on the new SSD.
Do you have the Windows install media?

Just a few details more. When Windows was installed on the SSD, while in the desktop PC, was there another hard drive present? Say the one the desktop would have been using along side of the SSD?
If yes, then that is why it will not boot, now. The Boot-loader was installed on the other hard drive instead of the SSD.
You can try a boot-loader repair - with the SSD in the laptop, then boot to the install Media and pick "repair" instead of install.
Or just reinstall Windows while in the laptop.

When i checked the ssd in my desktop pc there wasn't another drive only this ssd, that's why i dont know why my laptop doesnt recognize it, in my desktop the ssd boots Windows perfecty fine but when i put it on my laptop just nothing the message not bootable device, i tried to change something in my bios but this hp bios is very basic and doesnt let me change almost anything and i'm lost, at least i have the original laptop hdd that works fine but not near as fast as a ssd obviously

This is uncommon. Is the Windows install a new install or a clone. If new, did you use the Microsoft Media Creation tool to make the Windows 10 install media? If not, search for the Microsoft Media Creation tool and make a new install media and try that.
I would give you a link but I am in the USA, so search for that tool in your region. It it free and the installer is supposed to be able to deal with most PC's.
If you have trouble with the new USB created, come back and we will sort this out.
