HP Envy x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-fh0000 (77W46AV)

My laptop has less than 1.5 year of residential use only. It suddenly stopped working and it was diagnosed with a motherboard problem (it is not detecting power, even though the charger is working normally) - this problem requires replacing that item for a new one. It is too early to have such type of problem, and the repair cost does not compensate, as the laptop is out of the 1 year warranty.

I'd like to know if HP can offer a repair solution that is not as expensive as this motherboard replacement, since the laptop is relatively new. I've never had such problem with other HP equipment before.
