HP Recommended
HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0001na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Note book won't boot to windows remains with black screen and no cursor, fans work and power light comes on.  Caps lock led blinks 3 long/2 short flashes (3.2)

 

Occurred after updating HP BIOS and latest windows 10 up date.  after which note book will not restart.

 

I have worked logically through all suggested HP online support eg.

 

reset by holding power button

CMOS Windows/V

BIOS Windows/B and 

Booting from BIOS on USB drive

 

NO Joy still dead:(

 

can anyone diagnose issue and advice on how to fix

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY X360 - 13-Ar0001na. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

As you have already tried all the steps and the issue still persists, it may be a hardware issue and the PC needs to be sent to HP Service Centre,  I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action. 

 

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.
