Microsoft Windows 11

Bought this new from BB a couple months ago. It's my vacation rig/wife's recipe kitchen island laptop so it gets very light use. 7940HS/4070/2Tb m.2/16gb of CL50 5600mt/s (like cmon, CL50 and no way to tighten, do better). Got it stable with x86 apu tuning utility and a -20 offset and some steep fan curves because there isn't a way to undervolt this thing natively.  Passed multiple 3dmark runs with a quite exceptional score for the setup.

Now fast forward a month, it intermittently won't boot, gives me a cmos checksum error (feel like I'm back in the DX66 days). Wife was telling me about some error that was causing it not to start up and the RGB on the mouse not lighting up.

Passes all the HP diagnostics, flashed the latest bios, etc. Still does this goofy intermittent cmos checksum error and has to recover the bios. Even if it's the battery, I haven't received a dying cmos battery in a new build/new mobo for years. It stays on AC for most of its time. My M15R4 is a tank and never gave me any of these issues.

Is it time for a RMA? I've only seen a few posts around Reddit and such about this. Still in warranty period.
