Good morning everyone, I recently made a post about my HP Pavilion X2 10 that was not charging with my phone's USB-C charger. So, I bought the original charger but it continues to have the same problem with the charging light flashing orange. I was trying to do a BIOS update via USB, but unfortunately there are no more drivers on the HP website (even though it seems strange to me because there are still drivers for my HP notebook from 2004). Can someone help me maybe with the file of the bios?

@fhbfkjjfdscc, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
I understand your concern with your HP Pavilion X2 10, especially regarding the charging issues and BIOS update attempt. However, I cannot assist with sharing BIOS files as distributing or downloading BIOS files from unofficial sources can pose significant risks to your device and system security.
Regarding the BIOS update, if HP's official website does not list drivers or BIOS updates for your specific model, it's possible that support for your model has been discontinued or the updates are no longer available. Typically, HP maintains support for their products for several years, but eventually, older models may be phased out.
Here are a few steps you can consider:
Check Compatibility: Ensure that the original charger you purchased is indeed compatible with your HP Pavilion X2 10 model. The charging specifications need to match for proper functioning.
Reset the Device: Sometimes resetting the device can resolve charging issues. Press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds to reset the system.
Inspect the Charging Port: Make sure there is no debris or damage to the charging port. Sometimes dust or bent pins can cause charging problems.
Battery Health Check: If possible, check the health of your battery. A failing battery might cause issues with charging and display flashing lights.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
