I am having a problem with the BIOS firmware on my chromebook, however I can't find the original BIOS file. Not even on the official HP support website. Is it possible to get the firmware from HP in another way? Platform: DRAGONAIR Model: HP Chromebook x360 14c ca-0004nd.

Hi @Treeko,

The tutorial only works for windows laptops and I have a Chromebook. I also can't access the bios or any other program on my Chromebook.

I am having the following problems:

  • The Chromebook stopped working after it was updated.

  • The Chromebook turns on but the screen remains black and it doesn't boot. It also can't enter recovery mode.

  • Sometimes the Chromebook will not turn on or off.

  • The Chromebook seems to think its temperature is too high.

  • The fans operate at full speed when the Chromebook starts.
