Password on BIOS start doesnt work

HP Recommended

Because the moderator didnt read my question, I really need an answer from HP to know WHY the password that I used all the time to start my laptop doesnt work now after BIOS update.

I installed a Bios administrator password and a Bios power-on password, both passwords are the same. I could login to the computer with the password, everything was working correctly. I updated the Bios to the latest version, no error msg's during update, but immediatly after the update the Bios password does not work anymore, I cannot get into the computer. After 3 tries the system gives the System SN: but no error code. It asks for a HP SpareKey USB Recovery Key, but I didnt create any key.

The laptop says CMOS invalid, CMOS data will be reset. After reboot of the laptop, problem not solved. Immediatly after starting it aks for administrator bios password. Booting with F2, F9, or F10 tried it all, does not work. Also starting with the windows key + B pressed to recover the bios does not solve the issue even when it says that it succeded on reinstalling the BIOS. Starting with the windows key + C to restet CMOS data does not solve the issue.

Please help, I need to use my computer.
