Pavilion 15-aw006ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Laptop works almost well in the last years (also with Windows 10).

Because of the Support Assistant Software, I'll recognized the advise to update my BIOS to the version...

...

BIOSVersion:F.32 Rev.A
Windows 10 (64 Bit)
18. Dez. 2019
sp100818.exe(11.8 MB)

After the successfull start of the update process and the required boot down , it never came back.
I've waited one hour, before I to restart my laptop.

Since then, the LED of my "on/off"-switch turns on and off, the fan works, but you know the answer...

the screen is and stays BLACK.

I have tried all the hints of the online support...

... disconnect all connected devices,  connect an additional HDMI-Screen, disconnect battery, removed the memory chips

... hold various keys (incl. Windows + B, or Windows + V, F1, F10, etc.)

... created a BIOS-Stick to install the previous or lates BIOS (and tried it onto all USB-Ports)

But finally, it never changed.

The Screen of the laptop and the external screen stays BLACK.

I'm pretty close to throw it out the window !!

I have got really no hope anymore, but maybe you can help me.

@Anonymous Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the laptop screen is black after the BIOS update.

As you have stated that you have already tried the BIOS recovery and checked with an external monitor as well.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have tried all options of the chat and nothing works.

I will not pay for the support for an error which occurs from something what was recommended of HP.

Need this laptop for my bachelor study and really pissed off, because of this trouble.

@Anonymous

I understand your concerns.

In that case, you have to contact the local service center and service the laptop. They will help you.

Have a nice day!!
