Pavilion laptop won’t turn on. It’s 2 yrs old and the battery light is on when charger is plugged in but the light on the on button doesn’t come on. I’ve held down the on button for 30 sec but nothing. It doesn’t have a removable battery. I’m just trying to see if it’s common n others have fixed the problem or if I’m up a creek. 😖

You wrote and explained yourself that you can’t solve the problem. The moment you said the battery can’t be removed, you made it clear that you can’t fix this issue on your own.
Here’s what I would do (but don’t, since it’s obvious you don’t really know what you’re doing).
I would open the laptop and disconnect the battery, then try to turn on the computer. While I’m at it, it’s a good idea to replace the thermal paste and clean the fan.
I’d also check that no part of the DC connector is detached and use a multimeter to see if the motherboard is receiving power. That’s a start.
Other than that, you have no choice but to take the laptop to a service center.
