My low battery message came on, on my Pavillion 15-cs0093ca laptop while working on it. I plugged it in to charge, but the the laptop shut down so I left it to charge for awhile. When I tried to turn on the power, only the white LED light on the charging port came on blinked 3 times and shut off and the computer won't turn on (no fan sound, no screen, and no other lights). My battery is not removable from the outside. I tried the "holding down for power button for 15 seconds" trick anyway, but that did nothing. I also tried other electrical outlets and another power cord which all resulted with the same charging port light blinking 3 times. Can anyone help me please?
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Let's reseat the hard drive and memory:
Press and hold the Power button for 5 - 15 seconds to turn off the computer.
Disconnect the power cable.
If your notebook model features a removable battery, remove the battery.
Disconnect and reconnect the internal hard drive and Memory. For instructions, see the Maintenance and Service Guide for your notebook model. Locate these in the User Guides section of your notebook product page on the HP Customer Support website.
After connecting the hard drive and reassembling the computer, try to start the computer normally.
If reseating the hard drive and memory does not resolve the problem, I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.
