Product: OMEN Laptop - 15-en0002ax
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am using a Omen 1660ti 2020 version notebook and while doing day to day task I received a prompt for Updating the Window 11 of a patch release.

 

Upon initiating it in the process I received another prompt for HP omen bios update and I accepted it as it was legit looking to me from HP. Location India, Date of Update 12 May 2022

 

Now I am unable to login to the machine because of the error, I quote,

’Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. Click to set up your PIN again’ and with a button below to ‘Setup my PIN’.

 

After clicking it, doing the steps shown and resetting it,

It will ask are you sure you want to reset and stuff and asks to continue or cancel,

 

Upon clicking continue, It will show a screen

’Something went wrong’

’We weren’t able to set up your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later.’

 

If I retry I will be reloading to this screen only and Once I click on Skip for now, It will go back to the first screen that PIN needs to be reset.

 

And this is lopping forever ☹️

Can anyone please help with this 🙏
