HP Recommended

Hello everyone.

I'm writing to you for help.

I want to update my Elitebook 2570p to the latest BIOS F.73 Rev.A .1 MB May 14, 2019.

I downloaded the application recommended by HP to avoid having to update manually.

HPSupportSolutionsFramework-13.0.1.131.exe

As soon as this application finished, my Elitebook stopped working: the screen was black.

Here's a brief summary of what I did to try to resolve the problem:

No battery, no CMOS, no DVD drive, no hard drive.

- As soon as I plug the power cord into the computer, without yet touching the On/Off button, the Caps Lock key and the Numeral Lock key flash, and at the same time, the four LEDs (ON/OFF, WIFI, Internet, and Volume) light up.

- 18 seconds later, everything turns off and stays off for 8 seconds;

- This "turns on, turns off" process is repeated 3 times, sometimes 4.

On the 3rd or 4th time, the fan starts up, but:

- the screen remains black,

- the Caps Lock key continues to flash (the 2GB RAM is fully functional).

I can't turn off the PC with the On/Off key; it always stays lit, as it was when I started.

If you could help me, I would be grateful.

With my deepest thanks in advance for your kindness and time.

Take care.

Best regards
