I shutdown my machine last night, this morning won't boot fully and comes with a Post Error, 903 Cover Removal and asking for a BIOS code.
Ive not removed the cover. Please help!

The 903 error code can be ignored. It just displays after a restart if the cover switch thinks the case was opened. If it happens just once, it's not a big deal. Just hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart the laptop.
The BIOS code is only needed to make changes to the BIOS configuration. It's not set by the factory, but if you bought it from someone else, or if this is a work laptop, they might have. Most of the time, you probably won't need it.
I'd suggest updating the BIOS to see if that helps. (HP 840 G9 Drivers Download) You could also check to see if the laptop is still under warranty if you think the cover switch is broken. (HP Warranty Lookup)
