I have an HP dq1039mw 14 inch laptop. While the laptop is out of warranty it has not been used a lot since purchase (4yrs ago) so it is in fairly new condition. I tried turning it on but it didnt. So I plugged in the AC charger and the Orange charging light came on. After letting it charge for about an hour I tried turning it on but the charging indicator began blinking Orange & White and the Power LED began blinking white, similar to how it blinks in sleep mode.  I tried unplugging the charger and resetting by pressing power for 30 secs. However this didnt seem to make any difference. 

 

Could someone please guide what is the problem and what I should do next.
