Power On Authentication log in not getting accepted

Elitebook 840 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been trying to log in for 3 days now but the system wont recognize my finger print nor would it accept the password. When i type in the password it says try again 3 times then says system lock and that i need to restart
