Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, hoping you can help.  I'm assisting my neighbor with an issue with her HP laptop and support has been giving her the run-around.  After a reboot the laptop had started asking for an "Administrator or Power On Password".  She has had the machine since it was new and never set such a password.

I figured I could pop out the CMOS battery and clear it, and upon removing it saw the battery was a little corroded.  Laptop is only 3 years old and looked to be in good condition otherwise.  So I'm guessing that was the root of the problem, battery connection was poor and the BIOS probably defaulted.  I replaced the CMOS battery with a new one and reassembled the laptop.  Still asking for a Power On password though.

She contacted HP support and they told her it was Microsoft's issue (?) but I saw other people here had the same issue and posted the lock code and got the unlock, so here is hers: "i 85347649".  Anyone know what to do with that?

Thanks in advance!
