I just bought and use my HP Victus 15 FB2111AX for almost 2 weeks just fine and suddenly now when i try to turn it on it does not showing any display whatsoever with Blinking Power LED and Blinking Charging LED if i plugged the charger. The last time i use it still charging fine. I use it on charge and after shutdown i stop the charging. I also turned on the Optimized Charging on BIOS menu iirc. I tried to press Power Button for long enough but did not do anything.

@StevenCG, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like a deep hardware-level issue, potentially power delivery, BIOS corruption, or motherboard failure. Here's how we can methodically approach it:
🔍 Based on Your Description:
- Power LED & Charging LED blinking: Indicates a hardware failure or error code (we'll decode this).
- No display even on external monitor: Likely POST failure.
- Battery disconnected/reconnected, now no lights at all: Could mean power is not reaching the board or BIOS/EC is stuck.
- Optimized Charging being on shouldn't normally cause this, but it's worth noting if BIOS got corrupted.
✅ Try These Steps in Order
Decode the Blink Pattern
HP laptops often blink in a specific pattern to indicate the failing component.
Count:
- Number of blinks between pauses (e.g. 3 blinks → pause → 3 blinks).
- Let me know the pattern if you see it again — we can decode it (e.g., 3 long, 2 short = RAM issue).
Perform a Real CMOS Reset (EC Reset)
Sometimes just removing the battery isn't enough — do this with charger unplugged:
- Unplug the battery again.
- While battery is unplugged, press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery.
- Try powering on with charger only (no battery).
- If nothing, try with battery only (no charger).
Try Without SSD or RAM (If You’re Comfortable Doing So)
- Remove the SSD and RAM.
- Power on — if RAM is removed, you should at least get blinking error codes for missing RAM. If not, the motherboard may not be posting at all.
BIOS Crisis Recovery (Optional, Advanced)
If it’s a BIOS corruption, some Victus models support recovery via USB:
- Prepare a USB with latest BIOS from HP.
- Press Win + B or Win + V, then press Power button (keep holding keys).
- Check for blinking or fan spinning.
If It Still Shows No Sign of Life:
You likely have one of these issues:
Motherboard or embedded controller (EC) failure
BIOS chip failure or corruption
Power rail failure or shorted component
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
