Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP elitebook 840 G2, when I press the power button; power button and power led light for like 5sec then go off with a flash of caps lock n orange battery led. Immediately after that phase, the battery led displays alternate white and orange lights for like 2sec and goes off as well. Then nothing shows afterwards,,,, with power cable plugged in, nothing happens though the charger light goes on for like 15 seconds

Hello.

 

Try with another HP power supply. This could just be a bad power supply and an empty battery.

 

If the caps lock or other leds keep flashing on/off several times, the blink patterns can be used to decipher the cause of the error.
