Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i have a firefly 14 g8  the power button qill not turn the laptop on or off. if i disconnect the battery and plug it back in the laptop will start up. everything works fine except the button. what i would like to know is what is the most probably cause. the button on the keyboard or something on the motherboard
