Power issues/ laptop not starting up

I’ve recently had issues with my hp envy laptop. It randomly went into sleep mode and then shut off and will not turn back on. I brought it to a repair shop last week and they said the issue was fixed and that the power jack needed to be re-soldered to the board. Laptop worked fine so I didn’t question it. Well today same issue again. I reset the battery cause I thought it might be a power supply issue, didn’t help. With the laptop plugged in and trying to power it on the LED next to the power jack that lets you k ow it’s charging flashes 3 times white ( not the amber color that usually comes with actual charging). I’m assuming that’s an error code of some sort but can’t find anywhere that breaks down what it means. I already paid money for them to “fix” this problem so I’m trying to fix it at home...any and all help is welcome and appreciated

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not powering on the led next to the charger port is blinking 3 times.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Is the computer powering on only with the battery?
