Product: HP Pavilion x360 - 14m-dh1003dx

I have recently bought an x360 m convertible second-hand and made the mistake of not having it reset in person before leaving. As I returned home to reset the PC, i powered it on and received the administrator/power on password screen. I was and still am clueless after trying default passwords I could think of such as admin, or password. Now I am seeing system locked and power off to restart or something of the sort. PLZ HELP

According to the Community's Rules of Participation:

 

4d. No posts shall include instructions/directions intended to bypass or subvert security mechanisms such as lock screens, BitLockers, BIOS lock, passwords, fingerprint/biometry scanners, PINs nor any other safety measures.

 

Therefore, this topic is being locked. If you would like help resetting the password on your product, please Contact HP support in your region. 


For cases related to BitLocker issues, please contact Microsoft Support.
