Hello,
I have a HP x 360 linked to HP USB - c docking station. However, with laptop lid closed, I cannot power-up my laptop in "desk" mode. With laptop connected to docking station and lid closed, laptop doesnot power-up when power button pressed.
I have to open the laptop lid, power-on laptop, then close lid to operate in desktop mode.
Any suggestions?
thanks, Glen

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,
As you seem to have an issue with the laptop won't power on when the lid is closed and connected to HP USB-C Docking station. This is how the docking station are designed to avoid any accidentally being powered on.
Yes, you would need to power on the laptop and then close the Lid to operate in Desktop Mode.
