When I turn on the laptop it enters the Prepare automatic repair screen for a few seconds then shuts off.
I've already tried turning of taking battery out and Ac plug and holding power bottom for 30-1minute and it didn't work.
I have tried systems reset and re installed windows 10 and still no luck.
Before I got the prepare automatic repair loop the laptop would take 3 tries before it would boot up as it would shut off after seconds into the boot process.
Is this a issue to do with the motherboard or can it be fixed.
Thank you so much.

Hi @Hannae1,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues with your computer. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?
Did you check if the computer shuts down in the Bios?
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Perform a Hard reset on the notebook: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.
Boot the computer into the Bios screen and check if the computer shuts down.
1. Turn off your computer
2. Make sure you have connected the power cable
3. Turn on your notebook, as it is starting press the F10 button repeatedly
This would confirm if it's either a hardware failure or an issue with the graphics card drivers so we may reinstall and update the drivers to fix the issue as mentioned above.
If the issue persists on BIOS as well, it's clearly a hardware issue with the notebook. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for available service related options.
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get the phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I ran into this problem with a brand new out-of-the-box Prodesk workstation yesterday at a client. After sleeping on it, I came back in today & reseated every power connector on the motherboard, which did NOTHING. Then, I moved the single DIMM from it's current slot (DIMM1 - black in color) to DIMM3 (also black in color). When I powered on & hit F10 repeatedly, it let me into the Setup screen, then I simply rebooted & the Windows 10 setup process started up as expected.
