Hello,

I did a BIOS update and Windows 10 was still booting, but my fan was awfully loud so I decided to apply the factory defaults in the BIOS in hope that this might help.

Unfortunately, after applying the factory settings the Notebook did not boot into Windows anymore - it was going straigt into FreeDOS...
How can I solve this?
Thank you for your help.

Well, I tried to repair Windows with its recovery/installation USB stick. Although it said that no problem could be found and repaired, I could suddenly choose the windows Boot Manager in the BIOS as first boot device...

Now Windows boots again.
