After I install a new SDD (also after removing) on the Probook 430 G2 from my wife - now is not working any more.
I only get a 7 times white blinking together on the LED that is in the caps look and in the scroll (num lk) keys.
If I am not wrong this is not on the table here: https://support.hp.com/sk-en/document/c01732674.
According this post https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/Caps-lock-and-num-lock-blink-for-7-times/td-p... (the only result for 7 times caps look blinking on HP laptops on Google), it should be a BIOS or CMOS error: I tried pressing Windows+B and Windows+V with the original HDD and with a USB Stick with the last BIOS, and I removed the CMOS Battery. Nothing helps.
It seams the new SSD is broken and has broken the HP laptop:
I tested the SSD (only with a shot look with gpared - like Disk Management in Windows) with my external HDD to USB adapter: is seams the SSD are working, but I was shocked as I want to save the data on the HDD from the laptop, I seams the HDD is broken. I check the HDD in two other computers: the HDD is working (I saved the data). - An incompatibility between the HDD and the USB adapter? - No, I checked another HDD that was working before on the USB adapter: same issue: the HDD is not working with the USB adapter any more. - It seams the new SSD has broken the HP laptop and the USB adapter. - But the curious thing is that the SSD is still working on the USB adapter. I am confused.

Hi
The age of the PC and the BIOS vendor matter...
Like this (assuming the 7 were not a 3:4, 4:3 or 5:2 etc)...
Power button LED blinks 7 times with 7 beeps | Motherboard/ Main-Board failure | Contact support for possible Main-Board replacement. |
OR
Caps/Num lock lights = 7 blinks - Sure Start unable to find valid BIOS Boot Block image.
I have no clue as to what BitLocker or TPM could make to a HDD switch.

Hi
Thanks for your answer, what I say this table is not mach.
Caps/Num lock lights = 7 blinks - Sure Start unable to find valid BIOS Boot Block image.
Where did you find this information? 😕
No blinking on the power button (Where did you find this information?).
BitLocker (or another hard drive encryption) is not in use. - I was able to save the data on the original HDD of the Probook with an other computer. I flow over https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c05381064 I think TPM is used by HP for hard drive encryption with BitLocker. - But I repeat BitLocker is not in use.
As I made the Video there was no HDD or SDD in the Laptop.
In the meantime, the USB HDD Adapter is now working again. 😕
And the SDD was tested by the dealer of the SSD, after them I have checked the SSD also in my (other) Laptop, the BIOS setup is shown it correctly.
I know that in BIOS setup auf the Probook 430 G2 a boot protection is active (that do you cannot boot from a other device). Before a few month I put in the Probook my test HDD and I was only able to boot from my test HDD if I disable this boot protection in BIOS setup, but I don't remember if I have done it before or after I put in my test HDD. 😕

After even deeper internet search I fund the following site: https://www.pcdied.com/beep.html
In it I read:
NEW CODES:
HP's new 2015+ blink codes here, nice that it does Desk and LAP tops in one. NEW UEFI rules. Watch out for NEW HP PC's with UEFI , that have over 10 BIOS upgrades before BIOS works right, (A PITA that)
https://www.pcdied.com/raw/blink2015.JPG:
I think the last line is relevant.
How to fix this?

Hi
I dont know.
Main- (Mother) Board | 5.2 | The embedded controller cannot find valid firmware.
Controller is missing appropriate ROM. | 1. Remove any recently inserted Hardware. 2. Reset CMOS. 3. Update BIOS while affected components are removed. 4. Test known good component. 5. Replace component or Main-Board as needed. |
