HP Probook 450 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently got a Probook 450 G3 from my sister which she got from her workplace as they are moving warehouses and otherwise would have gone to a landfill. I've had it for two days now, running smoothly until recently. I went to update all the drivers as I noticed a decent number of unknown devices in device manager, when downloading all the drivers I installed the bios update first. I left the laptop alone while plugged up to update and came back to it beeping and flashing caps lock (And num lock I think?) with a black screen, I turned off the laptop and turned it back on with no issues what so ever until I realized the laptop was not charging. So, I reinstalled the bios again with no issues but still not charging. I researched the issue and tried uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI driver or whatever to no avail. Then I tried a hard reset with no results, the next answer I saw was to let the laptop die and then plug it up again and allow it charge for 5 minutes after it died. This wasn't the smartest idea in hindsight and to be honest it was just flat out stupid, but I didn't see many other options. This did not work. Now I'm stuck with a dead laptop that will not charge. I've tried two other chargers, and these have not worked either. The only sign of life I have seen is when I plug up the laptop without the battery, this causes the charging indicator to turn amber then white quickly then turn off and the caps lock also turns on the then back off at the same time, trying to turn it on without the charger just causes the charging indicator to flash amber because of the dead battery. I honestly don't know what else to try but to me it doesn't seem like the laptop should be broken because it works fine off the battery. Any suggestions?
