I think it is not a solution... It's looks like a downgrade.

 

I have almost the same problem; my HP ProBook 6560b does not see my Crucial BX500 SSD. Anyone knows how to fix this?

I have downloaded and installed the latest BIOS update and the problem is solved. Note that you have to trick the site, when asked what OS are you using choose Windows 7.
