My HP ProBook 6550b on the first start of the notebook I got the following message:
Product Information not valid
The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid
Product Configuration ID
I already updated to the latest Bios version F.60, but this did not solve the problem.
I tryed a Biosconfig utility (Version 2.15A (sp52095.exe)). With the command getconfig i got a file config.txt. I am able to change some parameters with the command setconfig. I checked this in a new file config.txt. But the parameter System Configuration ID seems to be protected.
Does anyone know, which exe-file or which tool one needs for setting the Product Configuration ID on a HP ProBook 6550b?
Unfortunately I don't know, which command is necessary for setting the Product Configuration ID. Maybe someone can help with that:
